The Rural Municipality of Dauphin awarded Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. the contract to complete the design and construction of an RTAC weight rated, 21 metre single span bridge over Edwards Creek.

The existing steel truss Blackburn Bridge was removed and replaced with a new bridge comprised of a steel H pile foundation, precast prestressed concrete girders and precast concrete retaining walls.
