Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was the successful bidder for the GWWD bridge contract for the City of Winnipeg.

This project included the replacement of an existing Greater Winnipeg Water District timber bridge at Mile 22.15 and repairs to the Greater Winnipeg Water District timber bridge at Mile 41.3.

Works on the project included steel piling, concrete abutments, the supply and erection of a steel plate girder bridge structure, railway track construction and an 800 meter long access roadway.
