Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was the successful bidder for the City of Winnipeg contract to complete the construction of a Valve Chamber Superstructure, installation of Valve Actuators and associated works at their Branch II Interconnector Chamber located on Lagimodiere at Bishop Grandin Blvd.

Construction of the 1 storey superstructure on an existing cast-in-place valve chamber included the installation of three (3) electric valve actuators on existing large diameter butterfly valves. Electrical wiring, controls, miscellaneous mechanical works were required. Site works included landscaping as well as excavation, grading, construction of a granular road base and asphalt paving.
