Charleswood Bridge and Related Works
Our proposal was selected by the City of Winnipeg from 3 final submissions to design, build and finance the Charleswood bridge and lease it back to the City of Winnipeg for a period of 30 years.
The project was completed within one year, on schedule and under budget.
It is one of the first projects in Canada, to be designed, built, financed and leased back as a private public partnership.
The Charleswood Bridge and the related roadworks project comprised of the extension of Moray Street from Portage Avenue, across the Assiniboine River on a new twin span bridge structure, to Roblin Boulevard, near Haney Street. We completed the reconstruction of Moray Street between Portage and Ness, and the widening of Roblin, Portage and Ness at their respective intersections. Other features included a new land drainage system on Moray Street, noise attenuation walls and extensive landscaping of the project.
