Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was the successful bidder of the Manitoba Infrastructure contract for the completion of a five-span precast prestressed and reinforced concrete bridge over the Plum River on PTH No.75 in the RM of Montcalm.

With reinforced concrete piers and abutments and a precast box girder deck, this bridge was built with special deck overlay of steel fibre, reinforced concrete with silica fume.

The schedule for this project called for completion of four piers and two abutments and installation of precast girders over a 3 month period (January to March). Work was completed on time under extreme winter conditions.
