The team at Testify Performance trains some of Manitoba’s most talented athletes and needed a space where their team can take athletes to the next level.

Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. worked closely with the team at Testify Performance to design and construct a new cutting-edge gym where they can push sport-science to the next level. The space is located within a new 94,500 square foot facility shared with the Rink and the Winnipeg Ice WHL team. The entire new facility was designed and constructed by Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd.

Testify Performance’s new 7,2000 square foot space overlooks two of the Rink’s hockey training rinks and offers large windows to take advantage of natural daylighting. The space features the latest high-tech state-of-the-art performance fitness equipment, over 1,000 square feet of synthetic turf, a yoga studio, spin class area, a full serviced athletic therapy clinic including recovery lounge, a 200-meter 3 lane running track, plus men’s and women’s change rooms with private stalls and showers.

The facility features energy-efficient design considerations including radiant in-floor heat, a central building management HVAC controls system that captures fresh air and modern LED lighting. The building performs 13% better than MECB energy standards which has translated into substantial energy savings.

Through close collaboration and our ability to fast track construction of the main facility, the new space was completed on time and within budget.
