Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. (Hansch) is currently completing the foundation work for a new peat moss processing plant in the RM of Springfield, MB. The building footprint is approximately 44,400 square feet and an 8,630 square foot loading dock with dock levellers will be poured to the north of the facility.

The work includes large structural thickened equipment pads to support the weight of the heavy processing equipment and drainage pits throughout the building to facilitate washing. The entire building area is being built-up by four feet and all floors will be poured as structural concrete slabs on void form to prevent future movement.
