Southport Aerospace Centre Inc. awarded Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. the contract for the relocation of their ASR-8 Radar Tower in Southport, Manitoba.

Work included the construction of a concrete foundation, relocation and reinforcement of the tower, communication and power cables as well as construction of a tower equipment building. In addition to the contract works for Southport Aerospace Centre Inc., miscellaneous work was completed for Pelorus Navigational System Inc., including a foundation for the detector and antenna.
