Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. (Hansch) was hired by Continental Travel Group, to replace the existing storefront at 222 Osborne Street North with a new high-efficiency aluminum curtain wall glazing system.

Hansch provided all design and construction services required including drawings and permits as necessary to provide a new façade for the building. Work included demolition of the old exterior façade which contained asbestos materials. The asbestos was remediated and disposed of in a safe way with the use of temporary barriers and air testing precautions. The new aluminum curtain wall features black spandrel panels to provide an uninterrupted façade and the entrance features a new canopy with new stairs and wheelchair ramp to meet City of Winnipeg accessibility requirements.
