Working within the security requirements of the Department of National Defense, Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was involved in both the design and construction to replace the existing fall protection and access systems on the roofs of Hanger No. 10 and 11 at 17 Wing, Winnipeg.

With a curved roof structure on the hangars, walkways curved to match each structure were installed from the base of the roof to the top to provide access to the new rooftop walkway fall protection and access systems, including new tie off anchor points, while not interfering with or damaging the existing roof membrane.
