CP Rail 24hr Call Centre, Police Station, Control and Monitoring
Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. was the successful bidder for complete interior renovations to a 120,000 ft2 building for Canadian Pacific Railway’s 24-hour Operations Call Centre, Police Station and Control and Monitoring Centre.
The interior alterations included workspace for 300 employees with meeting rooms, offices, a training room, kitchen, cafeteria, fitness center, mail room, loading dock and the construction of a secured police station with control and monitoring center.
The 24-hour facility features a Building Automation System (BAS) for HVAC control and monitoring, card swipe security system, satellite communications, IT rooms with raised access floors and a seamless power back-up through the use of batteries and a diesel generator.
Ernst Hansch Construction Ltd. worked closely with the client, communications contractor and moving company to facilitate relocation of the client’s staff from two previous locations to the newly renovated space.
